3-Hour Private Kiteboarding Lessons $315 *|
If you want to learn to kiteboard as quickly and as cost-effectively as possible, with the minimum amount of frustration, this is the way to go. In the classroom, the private lesson format allows me uninterrupted time to focus on communicating clearly and quickly the information that will help you learn to kiteboard and keep you safe. Once on the water the private lesson format allows you to safely progress at your pace through the process of learning to kiteboard without standing around in the water and watching the other student learn. After teaching kiteboarding lessons at Hood River for fourteen years I can say with certainty that private instruction with an experienced instructor is the most cost effective way to learn to kiteboard.
Combo Lesson $570 total ($285 per student) *|
You can bring a friend or family member and save $30.00 each and some gas by sharing the 1-hour of classroom time and the drive to Hood River. After the shared classroom hour each student gets a 2-hour private kiteboard lesson on the water. The other student will have 2 hours to go into town or hang out at the beach while I work with student in the water.
(Please book two consecutive time slots when reserving a combo lesson.)
3-hour Buddy Lessons (advanced students only) $540 total ($270 per student) *|
In the Advanced Kiteboard Series two friends can safely work on advanced subjects such as high-wind kiteboarding and jumping as they share one instructor. I strongly recommend that you enjoy the safer and faster learning curve of private lessons for the on-the-water segment of all beginner and intermediate level lessons.
|Family or Team Kiteboarding Days 9:00 am - 7:00 pm $1,055 total *|
You can book me fulltime to work with up to 4 students over a 1-day to 14-day period. We can break up the lesson times to accommodate wind changes and skill levels and generally make it up as we go along. Everyone gets something a little different and learns at their own speed. We can combine classroom time or split up where appropriate. The on-the-water portion of beginner and intermediate lessons will be private. Advanced lessons can have multiple students. Each student will work with me for a few hours each day. This is normally enough to wear out beginners. Experienced kiteboarders can kiteboard on their own before or after the lesson if they bring equipment. (I have a limited amount of equipment and cannot use it to conduct lessons and loan it out at the same time.)
| * The charge for your lesson will be pro-rated if the lesson is shortened due to weather conditions.|
